When I discovered the Orb Zone Theory, I was quickly persuaded that most of the orbs we find in our photos are produced by the process explained in that theory. While this was disappointing, it seemed better to adopt a skeptical attitude towards most of my own orb photos and, of course, most others.

Mind you, I am aware of dozens of orb stories told by reputable and believable people who have seen them first hand without benefit of photography. I am a believer in orbs, for sure, but I do think most orb photographs, most, are artifacts of camera lens mechanics in combination with flash exposure.

Now here is the same workshop only five minutes or so later after I ran the blower of my shop vac for 15 seconds or less over near the far wall beyond the table saw.
